- Check the price history. Some "sale" prices are the same as the normal price from last month. Look at what the item sold for over the past few months before you buy.
- Compare the exact model number. Some TVs and laptops are made in special versions just for Black Friday, with cheaper parts. Make sure the model you're comparing is the same one.
- Check more than one store. Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy often match each other, but not always at the same time.
- Know the return window. Many stores extend holiday returns into January, which makes buying early less risky. Check the policy before you check out.
- Watch for lightning deals. Some of the best prices last a few hours or until stock runs out. Following on TikTok or joining the email list is the fastest way to catch them.
